Very large dog house for large dogs
Dog houses have several functions, but are part of every dog owner's standard equipment. If you bring a German Shepherd or Labrador home, for example, you will also need a correspondingly large dog house. After all, this should be able to be used as an alternative housing for the animal. It must therefore be appropriate, especially in terms of size, so that the animal can move around easily and accept the space as its own realm. This means that when buying, you should choose an XXL dog house.
Pay attention to the size of the dog
If you want to buy an XXL dog house for your four-legged friend, you should measure your animal in advance to be on the safe side. Among other things, the length of the dog is measured, which is measured from the base of the tail to the tip of the snout. The shoulder height of the four-legged friend must also be measured; here the distance from the ground to the animal's shoulder is considered to be meaningful. XXL dog houses are suitable for animals that have a shoulder height of up to 75 centimeters, such as Great Danes, German Shepherds or the Labrador dogs mentioned above. In principle, dog owners can assume that the dimensions of the XXL dog house should be at least ten centimeters larger than the animal's body dimensions.
Pay attention to the material when purchasing
Once the perfectly fitting size has been found, it is time to choose the material for the dog house. If you look around online or in specialist stores, you will often find models made of plastic or wood. The latter variant is particularly impressive visually and offers additional advantages such as optimal protection from wind and weather and good sound insulation. If you take good care of the XXL dog house and treat it with a glaze every now and then, you can expect a long lifespan for your dog house. If you choose an XXL dog house made of plastic, the owner and owner and of course the animal will benefit from easy cleaning and a cheaper purchase price. Even without painting, the dog house has a long service life, but dog owners have to accept compromises in terms of sound insulation.

Apart from that, the housing for the animal must of course be able to withstand all weather conditions and fit the dog.
